Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about buying PC components from PartsHub.

Are these genuine, new parts?

Yes. Every product we sell is brand-new and factory-sealed, sourced through authorized distribution channels. We never sell refurbished, open-box, or grey-market hardware.

How do I know a GPU is compatible with my motherboard?

All GPUs we sell use standard PCIe slots (PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 ×16) and are backward-compatible with older PCIe generations. Check that your case has enough clearance for the card's length, and that your PSU meets the TDP requirement listed in the specs.

What DDR5 platform do I need?

DDR5 memory requires a DDR5-compatible motherboard and CPU. For AMD, that means AM5 platform (Ryzen 7000/9000 series). For Intel, LGA1700 (12th/13th/14th gen) or LGA1851 (Core Ultra 200). DDR5 is not backward-compatible with DDR4 slots.

What is the difference between PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 NVMe?

PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs (e.g. Crucial T705) can reach up to 14,500 MB/s sequential read — about twice the speed of the best PCIe 4.0 drives. You need a PCIe 5.0-capable M.2 slot (Intel 12th gen+, AMD Ryzen 7000+) to get full speed; the drives still work in PCIe 4.0 slots at PCIe 4.0 speeds.

Why are GPU prices higher than MSRP?

Demand for high-end GPUs — driven by gaming, AI inference and data center build-outs — consistently outstrips supply. Our prices reflect real market conditions. We do not engage in automated scalping; inventory is allocated fairly on a first-come basis.

Do you offer bundles?

Yes. Our pre-configured bundles (AI Workstation Kit, Gaming Starter Bundle) pair a GPU, CPU, and RAM kit that are verified compatible on the same platform. Bundles are priced at a discount versus buying components separately.

How long does shipping take?

In-stock orders ship within 24 hours. US delivery takes 3–7 business days. International delivery times vary. Shipping is free on all orders. Components are packed in anti-static protective packaging.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on all products in original, unopened condition. Contact our support team and we will issue a prepaid return label. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of receiving the return.

What warranty do the products carry?

All products carry the standard manufacturer warranty (typically 2–3 years for GPUs and SSDs, 2 years for CPUs and RAM). Warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer using the serial number on the sealed box.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our Stripe-powered checkout. All card data is encrypted end-to-end. We never store your full card details.

Can I order if a product shows 'Pre-order'?

Yes. Pre-order items are allocated from our next confirmed shipment. Your card is charged at the time of order. We will notify you by email as soon as your item ships, typically within 1–2 weeks.
