These operating rules sit alongside the final marketplace agreement and the consumer, product-safety and tax laws applicable to each product and destination.
Customers must be able to identify the legal seller and contact responsible support.
No counterfeits, unsafe goods, prohibited products or misleading condition claims.
Provide product identifiers, manufacturer details and the EU responsible person where required.
Inventory, total price and listing data must remain accurate and refresh on the agreed schedule.
Dispatch times, delivery coverage, returns and after-sales ownership must match operations.
Act promptly on safety notices, recalls, complaints and requests from competent authorities.
Core EU requirements reflected in this onboarding
Professional traders must provide verifiable identity details before selling; product listings must support applicable traceability and safety information; distance sales generally include a 14-day withdrawal period and a minimum two-year legal guarantee for faulty goods, subject to applicable exceptions and national rules.
