Each of these heirloom-quality bowls is one of a kind, carved from a single piece of Amazonian hardwood. In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, indigenous Yanesha artisans sustainably harvest local wood from forests that have long been their home. The artisans take a limited amount of wood from a single section of the forest at a time, allowing the forest to regenerate and sustain the art of woodworking for generations to come.
